My first day as Playboy's Miss Social February

So today is my first OFFICIAL day as Playboy's Miss Social February and it still doesn't feel real. I find myself constantly having to go back to the app to make sure my picture is there with the word "WINNER" above it haha I've been dreaming of a day like this for so long and it's so incredible and so humbling to know I don't have to wait anymore. To know everyone voted for me and had my back makes the experience overwhelming because I feel so loved and supported. I can't explain what it's like to know so many people believe in me. People who didn't know me were telling their friends I deserved it and right then is when I knew I have taken the first step to accomplishing a dream.

I have been trying to prove myself for many years and now people are finally believing I can do it and they can do it with me. To know I got 2.2 MILLION votes is insane to me. Everyone keeps saying "don't let it go to your head" but believe it or not, it humbles me more. I know I couldn't have done it without everyone's support and for that, my head stays leveled.

Today it still has not hit me but I'm proud to say I'll be doing appearances and interviews ASAP along with shoots and website features. My foot and the rest of team a*A's is finally in the door! I'll be doing an 2 event appearances at 2 clubs in Boston in the next few weeks (don't worry I'll keep you informed) and next Friday 3/11 I'll be on air at the Matty in the Morning show on Kiss 108FM to talk about becoming Playboy's Miss Social. I also have some shoots lined up and exciting website features.. As always, you'll be the first to see and know when they happen.

My goal is to let you all share this experience with me because it should be your experience too since your votes made this possible! I will be posting updates on my Facebook fanpage everyday [www.facebook.com/ashleyalexiss] and also am thinking of having a one hour chat a week on USTREAM with everyone. I will also be trying to keep this blog daily along with doing a video blog 5x a week leading up to my Playboy shoot.

So the ride has started & I hope you'll all be with me as these days get brighter and brighter. I cannot thank you enough for giving me the chance to change my life and my families life. I have worked so hard to become something that has the power to give back to my family and friends and now it's possible thanks to your hard-work. Always remember, I don't do it for me. I do it for US!
